Ricardo Calado worked under my supervision for eight years, first in
administration in the Bulhosa Livreiros bookstore and then as editorial assistant for the
publications of Tinta – da - China of which I am director. The duration of our
collaboration as well as the close working proximity developed, gives me the
competence to emphasize his human and professional skills.
In Edições Tinta - da – China, which I founded in 2005, I invited him to work
with me at that time. His functions included especially credit control and invoicing,
stocks control, keeping account of sales, the carrying out of administrative duties,
corrections and fact checking. Besides these duties, he developed computer techniques
according to the particularities of the publishing business.
Throughout the years we have worked together, Dr. Ricardo Calado proved to be
an extremely competent member of staff, talented and a great asset to the
entrepreneurial organization. He shows an admirable capacity to take on
