As Co-Founder of Impact Hub Seattle, it is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for
Erwin Wang. Erwin interned with us during the summer of 2014, about 20 hours per week.
Erwin is an incredible person—thoughtful, smart, intuitive, outgoing, and capable – but most of
all, self-motivated. I quickly learned to trust him with some very important projects and key
relationships. With very little guidelines or instruction, Erwin developed a streamlined social media
and communications strategy for sharing our member success stories with the rest of our
network. Erwin was also the first point of contact for members in the new interview process we
were implementing, and he demonstrated an enviable ease with persons that had many more
years of experience. He is entrepreneurial in the best sense of the word and showed initiative in
seeking out the opportunities that interested him, and following through on every one provided.
As a startup company, we have very restrictive schedules and limited intern training programs in
place. This was not a hurdle to Erwin; he made the most of every few moments we were able to
spend together. He rarely had to ask me to repeat a request or get additional clarification about
an assignment. He is communicative and willing to ask questions, but also willing to take initiative
and move forward on his own.
It would be my honor to answer any questions about Erwin and offer additional thoughts
regarding one of the most inspiring persons I have been able to work with.
