In my capacity as President of Federated IT, it has been my pleasure to work with Mr. Toalson
as my Contracts Manager and it is with confidence that I recommend him for his next
assignment. He has proven reliable, determined and professional. Upon arrival at Federated IT,
he hit the ground running in a position that had been vacant and he quickly identified several
contracting areas that required immediate attention. He prioritized effectively and rapidly
established himself as an authoritative resource with our Program Managers, Senior Corporate
Leadership and with his counterparts in the federal government.
He integrated quickly into an established corporate team and demonstrated that he could
accomplish complex and diverse tasks with minimal guidance. He arrived as the company was
recertifying for the ISO 9001 certification and his quick mastery of his domain as well as his
interaction with the Auditor was instrumental to a positive finding. During his tenure he
effectively led several contract negotiations and had an enviable mastery of contractual details
that resulted in favorable terms for our company and he was an integral part of our corporate
migration to an ERP solution that streamlined transactional activity.
The small business government contracting environment is sometimes volatile but always
challenging, and it was with difficulty that I decided to eliminate the Contracts Manager role
that Mr. Toalson so aptly filled. I have no doubt that he will be an asset to his next company
