This document outlines two theories for preventing war: the McDonald's theory and the Dell theory. Being part of major global supply chains gives countries a financial incentive to maintain peace as they have become economically interdependent. Countries not integrated into global supply chains, like Iraq and North Korea, remain potential conflict zones.
