1. creating sub-sites
Let’s say that the XYZ Team Site scheduled a meeting and you want to create a site to organize
it. It would make sense for this Meeting type site to be a sub-site under the XYZ Team Site. It’s
easy: just create the Meeting site while being situated on the Team Site. Click on “Site
Actions”, then on “New Site”.
2. Then select the type of site you want to create, and type the name you want for the
sub-site. And you are done.
3. Here is your Meeting Site. The name is the date of the meeting: “2012.03.10
Meeting”. Some of it’s elements are: Objectives, Attendees, Agenda and Document
Library.
4. See the structure. The sub-site will appear at the left of the main page.
