Capital includes man-made resources like machinery, buildings, transportation and communication equipment, and tools that are used to produce other goods. There are different types of capital including productive capital used to produce other goods, fixed capital that can be used repeatedly for a long period of time, special capital for a specific purpose or activity, and circulating capital that can only be used once.
