2. FACTS
Elephants are a group of giant mammals belonging to Asia´s
and Africa´s contemporary megafauna.
Elephants can be about 4 feet tall and weigh more than 10
tons at most.
There are three living species of which two belong to the
same genus.
Pliny the Elder wrote about elephants: «Elephants have any
properties that you do not even see so often in humans,
namely honesty, reason, justice and respect for the stars, the
sun and moon.
