Wexford Conference Center Facilities
The Wexford Conference Center is an ideal setting for conferences and meetings. The
center features comfortable guest rooms and state-of-the-art meeting facilities.
Guest Accommodations
The Wexford Conference Center has 105 guest rooms, including 50 rooms with king
beds, 40 rooms with two queen beds, and 15 two-room suites. All rooms are designed to
meet the needs of conference participants and include spacious desks with comfortable
desk chairs, voice mail, and high-speed data ports.
In addition to the on-site fitness center, extensive fitness and recreational facilities are
availableat the nearby Oak Park SportsPlex. Guests can access tennis, swimming, walking
trails, and a host of other activities with less than a five-minute ride on the free Wexford
shuttle.
Meeting Facilities
Wexford meeting facilities create a perfect environment for learning. The functional
rooms are ergonomically designedand are aesthetically pleasingto maximize
productivity. Ceiling height in the meeting rooms ranges from 10 to 18 feet. The space is
flexible so that it can be tailored to meet the needs of groups as small as 10 or as large
as 350. Five basic types of meeting rooms are available: boardroom, ballroom, fixed
classroom, computer-training room, and multipurpose meeting rooms.
Nord Boardroom
The Nord Boardroom is the ultimate in luxury—featuring mahogany paneling, custom-
designed board table, and fine leather executive chairs. It is a world-class facility that can
deliver and/or receive programs via the Internet, video-conferencing, or satellite.
Simultaneous translation capabilities are available. The Boardroom has a white board and
virtually every audiovisual resource requested for effective meetings.
Wexford Ballroom
The four-salon flexibledesign of the Wexford Ballroom provides a variety of options. The
entire ballroom can be used for a function, or the flexible walls can

be moved and the space can be divided into two function rooms—each of which can
also be subdivided into two rooms. Excellent soundproofing makes it possible to have
one, two, three, or four different functions occurring concurrently in the ballroom.
Oak Room
The Oak Room is a trainer’s delight. The computer-controlled podium makes it easy to
control the extensive audiovisual resources for this fixed-style classroomwith the touch
of a button. Each participant station has data ports and full Internet access for laptops to
plug into the Wexford network. Each station is also equipped with a keypad response
system for automatic polling.
Rex Computer Lab
The lab is equipped with 30 state-of-the-art desktop computers for participants and two
for instructors. It also has four-network printers. The lab is configured so that the
instructor can project information on each computer screen as well as on the large
monitors placed strategically for optimum viewing in the room. Each computer also has a
500 GB mobile hard drive that enables instructors to bring in specialized software for
training programs.
Although the lab is very popular for technical training programs, it is also used
extensively for financial analysis programs, for advertising and brochure design
programs, and sales training. During the past six months, the computer lab was used 35
percent of the time for corporate meetings that included sessions on financial
management or for seminars and training programs for financial managers. A significant
increase in the advertising and brochure design programs has occurred in the past two
months. New state-of-the-art graphics software has been installed, and the feedback on
it has been excellent. The lab has been reserved for a number of programs in the next
three months.
Summit and Lakeview Rooms
These attractively designed multipurpose rooms can be configured for any type of
seating desired. They have complete audiovisual capabilities. They often serve as
breakout rooms for large functions.
Outdoor Functions
The patios and large gazebo area provide excellent venues for receptions and picnics
when the weather is appropriate for outdoor functions. Large climate-controlledtents
can also be rented for special functions.

Food Service
The Wexford dining room provides full breakfast and lunch buffets for residential guest
and for conference functions that do not have group meals for participants. Chef Pat
receives rave reviews for the theme buffets he offers in the evening. The Wexford lounge
is open daily from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
Meals are competitively priced. The following table shows the meal prices per person.
