This document introduces French adjectives that change form based on the gender of the noun they describe. It provides a list of common adjectives and their masculine and feminine forms, such as "amusant/amusante". An activity is described where students describe pictures of people using these adjectives. They are instructed to make the adjectives agree with the gender. As homework, students are asked to complete an activity in their textbook practicing using these adjectives.

• With a partner, describe the picture of the
person you have in front of you using as many
adjectives from our new word list. You can say
what he or she is (il/elle est) or what he or she
isn't (il/elle n'est pas). Try to come up with as
many sentences as you can. When you have
both finished, you will then present your
person to the class!
