1. DATE WHAT I DID
28/11/12 The first thing I did today was review my pre-production to find out
what I need to record first, I then got a zoom recorder and started
recording all the background sounds I needed and couldn’t find
online, these included recording an empty classroom and the
cafeteria.
06/11/12 Today I met up with the voice actors participating in my radio drama,
we then recorded the dialogue from my script in the hall, due to one
of my voice actors missing I could only record the scenes between
Zarrah and Angelika
12/11/12 Due to one voice actor’s absence last week we only got through some
of the script, but today all my actors were present and we gathered all
our props and continued to record dialogue today, during lunch time
we recorded some of it in the recording studio in Deansfield, then we
continued to record in the hall during lesson time and finished the
whole script.
13/11/12 Today I started editing the recordings of my radio drama, I blended
my background recordings and my vocal recording together and
added ambience from YouTube, due to an early start I got to finish all
the radio drama today making me forward with my production
schedule.
14/11/12 Because I managed to finish my radio drama early I decided to play it
to some classmates as they fit my target audience and recorded their
feedback
15/11/12 Today I continued to edit and tweak my radio drama and I tried to
incorporate all the feedback I got from my class, this included adding
sound effects such as heartbeats and clock ticking noises to build
tension between scenes
19/11/12 Today I listened to the radio drama again and wrote and evaluation
for it and uploaded it to my blog, I also updated my blog.
