This document summarizes a professional development program for primary deputy and assistant head teachers called "Leading and Managing". The program consists of 6 sessions held over the 2016-2017 school years, led by experienced heads Bart O'Shea and Chris Bentley. Previous participants provided positive feedback, saying the program was informative, practical, and confidence-building. The goal is to help senior leaders improve their effectiveness by exploring key leadership themes and managing challenges. Sessions will be held at an excellent training center and provide opportunities for experience sharing and networking with colleagues.

This is where “Leading and Managing” comes in, providing a programme of comprehensive and practical
professional development to enable senior leaders to improve their effectiveness.
