This is where “Leading and Managing” comes in, providing a programme of comprehensive and practical
professional development to enable senior leaders to improve their effectiveness.
Sessions will be held in
the excellent training
centre at Bishop
Challoner Catholic
College, Kings Heath.
 Expertly delivered by engaging and highly experienced leaders who really understand the
issues.
 Explores the key themes and fundamental aspects of leading and managing in a primary
school, using a pragmatic and accessible style, rooted in reality.
 Designed to build capacity, improving the effectiveness of deputy and assistant heads in
supporting their headteacher and governors.
 Provides opportunities to share experiences, tackle real-life situations and learn to manage
challenges positively.
 Builds positive networking with colleagues in similar contexts.
