Leadership Seminars
Baker University
Kendall Stelting
Date: 1996-PRESENT
Leadership Club
In Elementary school I was selected as the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade class representative.
This meant that I could attend a day of leadership team building in the school. We got a
day off from classes and played games that helped strengthen our trust as a group.
Falcon Mentor
My Senior Year of High School I was invited to join the Falcon Mentor group. This was a
group of upperclassmen who helped new Freshmen around the school, and gave them
personal advice on what High School was like.
AXO National Convention
Because I served on the Executive Board as a Freshman in college, I had the opportunity
to apply to attend our National Convention over the 2016 summer. I was selected out of
all 50 girls in our house. At the Convention I got to experience Alpha Chi’s history, as
well as come up with team building activities. The amount of leadership in one room
was incredible.
Contemporary Leadership
My Sophomore year of college I decided to take a class, not on how to be a leader, but
what leaders looked like and what it would take to eventually become one.
AXO Leadership Academy
At the end of January 2017 I have the honor of attending Alpha Chi Omega’s Leadership
Academy. This is a time that I will spend with two of my other sisters, talking about how
we can help our chapter grow and adapt as the years go on.
