3. Personal Statement on Leadership. (1)
● In addition to knowing how to do his / her job well, a good leader should be
an cooperative individual who knows how to dig deeper and understand
those who follow him/her.
● I've concluded that leadership is defined as an individual's ability to guide or
lead other people or companies towards the attainment of a certain goals.
● 70 % of leadership skills comes from personal experiences. (www.ccl.org.com)
4. Personal Statement on Leadership. (2)
● The most important characteristic of a leader is the ability to engage and
excite their teams.
● A good leader takes his teams to the moon and back and always have their
teams back no matter what happens.
● Give each member of the team a clear mission and vision, provide them with
the assistance they require without micromanaging them, be all ears to
them and consider everyone's suggestions, involve everyone in the project,
and, most importantly being genuine and honest are some of the good and
important qualities a leader should have in my opinion.
5. Personal Statement on Leadership (3)
● One of my favourite leader is Elon Musk. In order to gather support for his
audacious ideas, Elon Musk decided to take what could be described as a
high risk, high reward approach by participating in visionary thinking. It
presents a vision for its initiatives that is both bold and interesting.
● Sterling Anderson, a former director of Tesla's, claimed that Elon "truly
understands people."
● Elon Musk is aware that a bold and compelling vision draws top talent,
particularly engineers. With the help of these engineers, he can create
superior item.

and shows the way.

the country on his own. But
what can he do? He can give
examples to others.”

successful, you need to be
smart, conscientious, and
tough”

who supports you to rise in
career and always keep you safe
from ‘low level politics’ “
10. Compilation of Leadership Experiences (1)
At St. Clair College as a Lead Volunteer 2022 - Present
● My main role was to create monthly events no matter what. Even if none of the volunteers
cooperated, I still have to implement monthly events alone. So keeping volunteers
interested to work with me was the most challenging part.
● I did this by genuinely listening and implementing ideas and suggestions of my team and
made sure that each member of the team was involved in the project from the beginning by
assigning tasks of their choice which boosted the confidence and interest level of my team.
● I was always there for them and never pressured them no matter what. If any of my team
member was unable to complete their assigned tasks, I would always help them out by
chatting through teams, meeting physically or even taking over their part.
● Lastly the key to be a successful leader is by being patient and that is exactly what I did.
Not everyone's schedule could match and we all worked around each other’s schedule.
11. Compilation of Leadership Experiences (2)
At Easter Seals Windsor as an Acting Lead Volunteer 2022 - Present
● I was basically assigned to be a helping hand for the managing director of Easter Seals
which meant that I had to make sure that the team is running as planned, VIP guests are
being welcomed and seated and the seating arrangements are in order.
● To be able to able to this, I was showing the new volunteers around, explaining them the
event details what they are expected to do and assigning tasks accordingly.
● Volunteering in big events can be stressful. One of the volunteers was at a verge of
breaking down due to stress so I, as a leader, calmed her down and took over her work while
she went away for a break and when she was done, I personally made sure she was doing
okay and assigned her tasks that have lesser works.
● We acknowledged the volunteers for their hard work by setting up a full course buffet that
included chicken, pasta, salad, desserts and drinks.
