Background
The area of Trade Finance has an extensive, and
somewhat fragmented practice. There are rules
covering the various instruments (documentary
credits, guarantees and collections).
In addition a main part of that practice is
documented in the “Official Opinions” issued by
the International Chamber of Commerce.
Often it is difficult – sometimes impossible – for
the LC practitioner to locate the ICC Opinions
that has been issued on a particular topic and to
determine whether or not the ICC Opinion still
applies.
LC Views Premium effectively solves that
challenge: It offers review of the majority of ICC
Opinions issued subject to the main ICC rules,
split into sequences (topics) – and linked to the
commentary to the relevant rule.
