2. LAYOUT.
• This layout merges the two buildings at hardy together.
1.) Space utilization is maximum.
2.) Material handling is reduced due to proximity of machines
from building 2.
3.)Travelling distances reduce (No inter building transfer).
• All CNC lathes, manual lathes and milling machines are
grouped together respectively.
• Critical operations like welding and sawing located at one end
of the building.
• Only 2 bay doors are provided one for Incoming material and
one for outgoing.
• Material tracking is easier.
