Legal practice is all about information communication, use and management. The Digital Paradigm enables improved and efficient use of information systems to commoditise basic and repetitive advice common to many legal issues. Legal Expert Systems - a subset of Artificial Intelligence - provide further opportunities to develop advice giving processes and systems. This presentation will discuss how Legal Expert Systems can be deployed, how they can be created and their possible application beyond the law office and in the Court system, thus enhancing access to justice.
A very short insight on the true value of documents, the work that we do at NXC with our product and company Documaster.
The presentation includes a short case study on how Documaster helps municipalities, governments and companies to become more efficient and handle massive amounts of structured and unstructured data, including paper archives digitalization and archival.
Making good command decisions today is more and more being underpinned by the use of data and the insights that the data can deliver. In our rapidly changing world, we start to find that the pure volume of data becomes overwhelming. This volume of data can lead to indecision instead of better decision making. In this session, we will cover how through the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning and intelligent data routing we can enhance and support the decision-making process in times of crisis.
On May 19, 2016 I hosted a workshop at Stanford's Codex Center about ways to make legal data more open and accessible for computation. These are the slides from my presentation framing the issue.
Sirris innovate2011 - Smart Products with smart data - introduction, Dr. Elen...Sirris

During this session we will discuss how the new digital workplace can embrace new technologies from Microsoft Teams through to AI and Extended Reality. During this presentation we will discuss how these new technologies can enhance and support the "new way of working'.
