Question 1
Keleice worked at Midland Bank. She provided her brother Kyle, who approached her about
helping him rob the bank, information on the bank’s armoured truck’s daily money drop off. Kyle
decided to rob Midland Bank months later when Keleice got a job at another bank. Kyle, asked his
friend Barry to get him a gun and to borrow one of the cars at his mechanic shop. Although Kyle
did not tell Barry exactly what he wanted the gun and car for, he did tell him he would be coming
into some money and needed protection. Kyle also asked another friend, Tony to sit in the outdoor
area of the coffee shop across from the bank and be a lookout. After overhearing Kyle talking to
Tony, Princess, Kyle’s girlfriend, wants in and agrees to go to the bank the morning of the robbery
and cause a distraction to keep the bank’s security guard occupied while Kyle approaches the
armoured guard at the back of the bank.
Discuss the criminal liability of each party.

2. Question 2
On the 25th
day of March, 2014, Marlon was on his way to San Fernando. On that day there was a
nationwide exercise by the Police. Whilst on the Solomon Hochoy Highway, Marlon was ordered
by one of the officers to pull aside. In doing so, unknown to Marlon, the left front wheel of his car,
rolled unto the officer’s right foot. The Police Officer informed Marlon that the wheel of the car
was on his right foot, but Marlon refused to reverse so that the Police Officer could free his foot.
Instead he said, “All Yuh Police feel all yuh bad. Take that!” Marlon was later arrested and charged
with assault of the Police Officer.

Question 3
Sue and Janet are best friends and usually attend major social events together. During the recently
concluded Carnival season, Sue and Janet attended Blue Light District one of the biggest concerts
for the season. Whilst there, Macho Player began flirting with Sue and Janet. Janet believing this
to be an opportunity to ‘fix up’ Sue, gives Macho Sue’s mobile number and Blackberry Pin. At this
stage, Macho’s girlfriend Marvelous Jones intervenes and shouts, “All yuh, leave meh man! All yuh
in party with all yuh eye white, white looking to see who man all yuh could thief. Not mine!” Janet
then replied saying, “Well if you cyah take ‘D’ heat stay out of the party!” On hearing this,
Marvelous removes a thick leather belt from around her waist and swings at Janet. Janet ducks and
Sue is struck extremely hard across the face. Marvelous is later charged with assault.
