The previous semester was focused on learning how to use blogs and completing an interdisciplinary soup project across multiple subjects. Students learned how to post various media like images, videos, and diagrams on their blogs. They studied soup making in chemistry and created marketing materials like brochures and logos to advertise their soup companies. Students gave presentations on slow food and their soup companies to classmates and parents. The semester culminated in students organizing stands to present their soup projects to the school community. The interdisciplinary project provided a fun, collaborative learning experience and prepared students for future university group work.
