This document summarizes the different types of landscapes found in Poland. It identifies nine main terrain belts: seashores, lake regions, lowlands, highlands, Subcarpathian valleys, and mountain areas. Each terrain belt is characterized by certain geographic features. For example, seashores areas have flat or wavy terrain, coastal lakes, cliffs, and sandy beaches or sand dunes. Lake regions feature many lakes and rivers, hilly or flat terrain, and erratic boulders. The document provides examples of specific regions that fall within each terrain belt type.
