Describe briefly the following desktop basics.
1. Graphics File Format
- Graphics file formats are a set of standards for organizing and storing digital
pictures. Uncompressed data, compressed data (which can be lossless or
lossy), or vector data can all be stored in an image file format. Image files are
made up of digital data that has been rasterized for usage on a computer
display or printer in one of these formats.
2. Resolution
- The quality, sharpness, and clarity of a picture are referred to as resolution.
The resolution of a laser printer refers to the number of dots per inch. A 600-
dpi (dots per inch) printer can print 600 dots per inch on a line that is one
inch long. This printer is regarded as having a high resolution. A screen with
a resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels may display 1280 dots on 1024 lines, or
about 1.3 million pixels.
3. Image Size
- The number of pixels and the depth of color of each pixel influence the
image's quality. The higher the image quality and memory or file size, the
more rows and columns there are. The image's composition is also enhanced
by the color's weight or depth.
4. Colors
- The most common color pixel is an 8-bit pixel, which can hold 256 colors. 16
million colors may be stored in a 24-bit pixel. True color is another name for
the 24-bit pixel.

5. Image Compression
- Image compression is the technique of decreasing an image's memory
storage and the algorithm for reducing picture file size. When it comes to the
Internet and Web apps, file size is essential for web sites to load quickly.
Lossy and lossless image compression are the two forms of picture file
compression.

Find any creative images online and paste it below. Explain how the images apply
the process of creative design.

- To begin with, Creative Design is the act of combining pictures, photographs,
and text in a seamless manner and applying it to all elements of design.
Drawing software (Illustrator) is used to produce and render images, picture
editing software (Photoshop) is used to improve and modify photos, and all
of this is combined by an application text into one (InDesign). The final result
is subsequently saved and shared with software (Acrobat) that renders it,
maintaining its quality and protecting it from modifications.
This image appealed to me because of the way it blends reality with graphic
design, a visual exploration that is common in the creative design process.
Strange pictures, which I find appealing, have been fashionable in recent
years. Animating others with other things that aid in the creation of a
creative design utilizing a variety of platforms such as illustrators,
Photoshop, and any other tools stated in the topic.
