La possessió: el verb “HAVE GOT”

El verb have got es tradueix per “tenir”.

Exemples

Anglès                                                    Català
Forma extesa                          Forma abreujada
I have got an ice-cream.              I’ve got            Tinc un gelat.
You have got a notebook.              You’ve got          Tens una llibreta.
The boy has got a sandwich.           He’s got            El noi té un entrepà.
The girl has got an apple.            She’s got           La noia té una poma.
The monkey has got a banana.          It’s got            El mico té un plàtan.
Mary and I have got a cake.           We’ve got           La Maria i jo tenim un pastís.
You have got some tomatoes.           You’ve got          Tenim alguns tomàquets.
They have got some pets.              They’ve got         Tenen algunes mascotes.



Per fer la forma interrogativa posem have davant del subjecte.

Exemples

Have I got an ice-cream?
Has the boy got a sandwich?

Per fer la negativa posem not darrere de have.

Exemples

I have not (haven’t) got an ice-cream.
The boy has not (hasn’t) got a sandwich.
