KSPA "Lucky Strand" is a public organization in Kiev that helps solve the problem of stray animals humanely. It operates an animal shelter and cares for homeless animals through catching, sterilizing, and returning them. The organization has been operating since 2012 and cares for over 200 animals annually. It is working to build additional enclosures and improve facilities at its shelter in the Kiev region.

3.  The idea of creating our own
organization was appeared in
2012, when Ukraine was waiting
for Euro-2012 and at that time
there was a cruel destruction of
homeless animals.
 Our team members are ones of
the first official volunteers in
Kyiv and have been helping
homeless animals for more than
12 years.
 We have a huge experience in
caring for homeless animals,
animals from shelter and in 2014
we started building our own
shelter in the Kiev region.

12.  Till December 2012 to December 2013 KSPA “Lucky
Strand” had been a member of the Public Council under the
Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

• Since 3.09.16 KSPA “Lucky Strand” is an official member of the OIPA - the
International Organization for Animals Protection;
• Since 2017 KSPA “Lucky Strand” is a member of the Commission on the
Protection of Animals of Kyiv administration.

And for novice volunteers and just not

The most up-to-date needs are any construction materials for
aviaries and assistance in the construction of a new fence!!!
