PERFORMANCEACHIEVEMENTS
Quest Diagnostics, Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory Jan 2011-April 2015
Forensic Scientist II
o Significant Company Achievements:
 Currently the industry leader in diagnostic testing, conducting approximately 9
million tests per year between four Forensic Toxicology Laboratories
 Contributed to a new company record high output of 1 million drug acquisitions
tested in a month during May 2014. This metric was also hit again in September and
November 2014, providing a new 2015 monthly reach goal
o Key Personal Laboratory Accomplishments:
 Began working as a Forensic Scientist I Jan 2011-Nov 2013
 Difficult to move up in company and by receiving an Excellent or better on
Performance Reviews was able to move up in the first round of promotions
in November of 2013
 Began working as a part of a skeleton staff on Sundays to clean up
 Worked with no supervision
 Trusted to make own educated decisions
 Pushed work through by processing and interpretation data
 Laboratory Mentor: Trains newly hired and previously existing scientists I and II on
various general lab practices, GLP, extractions, instrumentation and interpretation.
Mentors on developing an efficient and optimal method for completion of each lab
function on a daily basis. Helps each to understand the flow of the toxicology laboratory
environment and procedures, while offering any tips or advice to be successful
individually and as a team.
