She calmly told others what to do like bring blankets and call an ambulance while she stopped the bleeding with a clean towel. My mother stabilized our injured neighbor until the ambulance arrived to take her to the hospital. Our neighbor made a full recovery.

The narrator broke his leg while playing soccer with his cousin. When his cousin kicked the ball towards him in goal, he tried to move out of the way but was too late and the ball hit his ankle. His leg couldn't support his weight so he fell down crying in pain. His cousin called an ambulance which took him to the hospital where his leg was put in a cast. His family was upset but relieved when the doctor said he would be fine after wearing the cast for thirty days, during which time he had to miss school.
