   Koala’s scientific name is Phascolarctos which
    means “pouch” & “bear” in Greek.
THEIR RANGE
   They mainly live in Eastern Australia.
THEIR DIET
   The diet of a Koala consists of mostly eucalpytus
    leaves but in some cases they also eat non-
    eucalyptus trees.
AVERAGE SIZE, WEIGHT, LENGTH ETC.
 The average koala weighs: 9-20 lbs.
 They are about 27-36 in big

 Male koalas are naturally bigger than females.
BREEDING
 Female koalas’ pregnancy lasts for about 35 days.
 After the “Joey” is born they stay in the mother’s pouch
  for about 5 months.

 They sleep a lot so they’re able to save their energy
  for finding food, climbing trees, grooming
  themselves, or caring for their Joey’s.
 In order to move from one tree to the next they
