Klee Paul was a Swiss painter of German nationality who was born in 1879 and died in 1940. Some of his most notable paintings include On a Motif from Hamamet from 1914, Hermitage from 1918, and Cosmic Composition from 1919. Klee produced many abstract paintings throughout his career that explored themes of music, poetry, philosophy and geometry.
