Kiran Bedi is an Indian social activist and retired IPS officer. She was the first woman officer in the IPS and held roles such as Director General of the Bureau of Police Research and Development. She has received numerous awards for her community work and efforts in reforming the police system, including the Ramon Magsaysay Award. She is also an author and founder of NGOs focused on education and empowerment.
