KGEC is a government engineering college in West Bengal established in 1995. It offers 8 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate programs with over 60 students in each program. The college has over 25 labs and workshops across various disciplines. It has a well-equipped library with over 16,000 books and DELNET services. The college has achieved placements with companies like TCS and Infosys and has received an A grade from TCS. It aims to start new MTech programs and collaborate with other universities for research activities.
