PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE
I have 15 Years scaffolding experience working in construction Oil and Gas industrial plant
project including LNG Gas Plant, Power plant, Petrochemical Plant, Refinery, LPG Plant, and GTL
Plant.
 Experience in erection any type and classification of scaffolding designs; load
bearing or heavy duty, special duty, general purpose and light duty scaffolds.
 Experience to erection any type scaffolds like a common scaffolds at pipe rack,
vessel, column, equipment, furnace, stack, flare, and tank, any of structure type
vertical and horizontal position.
WORK EXPERIENCE
1. Designation: HSSE - SCAFFOLDING SPECIALIST SUPERVISOR. -Main contractor
Company : JGC Cooperation Middle East FZE
Project : BARZAN Onshore EPC Project, Qatar
Duration : January 2012 to August 2015
DUTIE AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
 Supervision construction and PMC scaffolding activity.
 Maintain high scaffolding quality comply with BS 5973 and TG 20:13 scaffolding standards.
 Ensure all scaffolding materials using on site are inspected and having material test
certificate to complies with BS 1139.
 Implementing high HSE-safety procedure and standard policy as per company requirement.
 PTW Issuing for PMC and constructions site.
 Lead TSTI coaching group and BO& I (behavior, observation and intervention) program.
 Lead IIF (Incident and Injury Free) including management site walk down and coordination
meeting.
 To perform safety observation in all construction, excavation, confined space entry and
especially scaffolding work to closure all finding of unsafe condition as per documented
safety observation card.
 Ensuring scaffold erectors / workers, supervisors and inspectors are qualified and whose
qualification has been verified with trade tests with 3rd party certificate.

2. Designation: HSSE – SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR/INSPECTOR -Client

Project : Qatar Shell Pearl GTL Project, Ras Laffan industrials City, Qatar.
Duration : January 2008 to November 2011
 Ensuring that all scaffolds provided by subcontractors comply with the safety and erection
regulations for scaffolding;
 Ensuring that all scaffolds are only erected modified or dismantled by, or under the direct
supervision of, a competent and experienced person;
 Ensuring that no scaffolds are modified by any person other than approved scaffold
erectors / workers;
 Ensuring that all scaffold erectors / workers of the subcontractors are provided with
overalls, hard hats, leather gloves, safety glasses and safety boots and fall arrest safety
equipment. In addition, ear defenders, dust masks and life vests shall also be provided
where necessary;
 Ensuring all scaffold erectors / workers are trained in the use of fall arrest equipment and
that all scaffolders are tied off at all times;
 Ensuring scaffold erectors / workers, supervisors and inspectors are qualified and whose
qualification has been verified with trade tests. Performing periodic review on such
records and in ensuring that they are properly maintained;
 Ensuring the implementation of a scaffold inspection and control system by the
subcontractors that is common across the project;
 Ensuring sufficient number of suitably qualified and experienced scaffold erectors workers
are employed by the subcontractors to erect, supervise and inspect scaffolds provided;
 Inspecting subcontractors scaffold tube, boards, ladders and other materials use in
conjunction with a scaffold before allowing it to be used on site;
 Reporting and suspending any breaches of safety or non-conformance regarding the
integrity of a scaffold by other discipline or subcontractors;
 Coordinating and communicating with all subcontractors scaffold representatives;
 Conducting periodic auditing of the subcontractors scaffold inspection and control system
for standard scaffolds;
 Assisting in the provision of any relevant scaffold training to end users or construction staff.

 Implementing project HSSE procedures and policies in concurrence with company’s own
HSSE standards;
 Keeping site management aware of safety program progress and make recommendations
for site related safety improvements;
 Daily monitoring of area responsibility, making routine check on activities of the
subcontractors and in compliance with TSTI program, site generated wastes’ segregation
and project worthy construction equipment;
 Participating in the weekly management walkabout;
 Conducting safety audits on subcontractor’s areas and coordinate follow-up reports;
 Reporting to the Area HSSE Manager for the on-site monitoring of subcontractor activities;
 To perform safety observation in all construction, excavation, confined space entry ad
especially scaffolding work to closure all finding of unsafe condition as per documented
safety observation card (SOC) and Safety observation audit record (SOAR).
3. Designation: HSSE- SCAFFOLDING INSPECTOR/SUPERVISOR -Main Contractor

Project : Dolphin Upstream and Compression Facilities Project, Doha, Qatar.
Duration : October 2006 to September 2007
 Scaffolding inspector is requested to inspect all scaffolds erected within the boundaries of
Company Dolphin plant to ensure they are suitable for safe use by others, and comply with
the relevant industrial standards, and Company permit to work procedures.
 Will be to inspect and assess the condition of the scaffolding material and approve the
erection of the scaffold assembly and ensure their compliance with the correct standards
applied by Company, as well as the requirements of the general Company permit
procedures, relevant to scaffold assemblies and, so act as the performing authority in this
context.
 Also maintain a record of the condition of all scaffolding materials and assemblies to
ensure that they are maintained correctly and dispose of, the damaged or defective
materials.
 Will provide advice on the suitability of specialized scaffolds supplied by contracting
companies to meet the health and safety requirements of Company, with regard to design
and access in case of plant upset conditions.

 Provides technical advice on scaffolding works and participate in work requiring higher
level skills.
 Ensures that all works are executed to high standards and meet all required safety
standards.
 Organizes and directs day to day scaffolding activities on various site as required for
maintenance works.
 Continuously updates and orders spare requirements as necessary.
 Records and updates a register for scaffolding material movement and locations. This
includes supervision of materials kept in Stores area.
 Provides estimates for labor requirements for major scaffolding works, including works to
be carried out by Contractors.
 Ensures that materials for scaffolds are marked and kept in good condition
 In addition to the foregoing, they must have a flexible attitude towards assigned working
areas and be prepared to dl all aspects of the work as required and assist in other areas to
meet operational or exceptional circumstances as directed by client. They will be expected
to work under similar conditions as those experienced by client’s employee of same
category.
 Implementation and enforcement of company HSSE management plan to support HSES
officer in daily converge when needed.
 Organize site HSSE coordination meeting with the key personnel of the area
implementation contractor (IC) to identify current safety issues arising from the every
changing construction phase and call for their commitment to provide all resources needed
to resolve all problems.
 Provides support to direct supervisor to entry level employees, as well as general
supervision to less experienced employees and contractors.
