• Member of an eight student team that developed a means to control pre-hospital, high-pressure hemorrhages at
junctional sites as a means to reduce the number of battlefield deaths that occur due to blood loss.
• Developed a compact, portable device to deliver a polymer foam which expands and applies pressure to wounds in
order to stem bleeding in situations where tourniquets cannot be applied.
