The Youth Employment Generation Program (YEGP) in Egypt aims to enhance socio-economic development through ICT, focusing on youth employment, social entrepreneurship, and vocational training. Established in 2002, the Egypt ICT Trust Fund collaborates with various partners to increase the competitiveness of micro and small enterprises while promoting training and capacity building for youth. Key strategies include leveraging ICT for business development, fostering entrepreneurship among young people, and offering technical training to improve employment opportunities.
