Kate Putnam’s home state of New Hampshire has a strong history in politics for women. With a history of volunteerism, there have been more females in political positions there than in most other states and since 1975 over a quarter of state legislature has been made up by females.

2. Kate Putnam is a New Hampshire
citizen who has always been aware of
her privilege in being brought up in a
forward thinking society, where
women are finally being valued. Her
father brought her sister and her up
with strong values, and taught them
from a young age the importance of
exercising their right to vote. Alice
Paul is one of her greatest
inspirations, as one of the many
female leaders who passionately
campaigned for female suffrage.

way for her. Kate Putnam is a multi
