Dr. Salequr Rahman from the Department of Community Medicine presented on post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL). PKDL can present as macular, papular, or nodular lesions. It can also appear as plaques that are photo sensitive or have a "leonine face" appearance. Differential diagnoses for the lesions include hypopigmented lesions from leprosy, tinea versicolor, photosensitive erythema plaques, secondary syphilis, multibacillary leprosy, sarcoidosis, and neurofibromatosis.
