Kadrina Secondary School is a 107-year-old school located in Estonia that has undergone several name changes and has had 10 headmasters. It currently has 62 teachers and 662 students, some of whom come from surrounding areas. In addition to 31 required weekly lessons, students can choose from 21 optional subjects. The school aims to provide a supportive environment for learning while maintaining principles of respect, responsibility, and discipline.

 Kadrina Secondary School
is 107 years old. During
this period it has had many
different names. For
example: Kadrina Parish`s
Shcool, Kadrina Education-
association School, Kadrina
Secondary School. In 1957
our school became a
secondary school.
 Kadrina Secondary school
has had 10 different
headmasters. The first one
was Ernst Martinson and
the present principal is
Arvo Pani. (In the picture)

to our students...
 School is your second home.
 Feel yourself as you were in home, but
act as you’re in school.
 You can be yourself as far as you don’t
disturb others.
 Don’t be late and remember to change
your sneakers when you enter the school.
 Respect the older ones and fellow pupils.

doesn´t only
comprise of the
children, who live in
Kadrina. A lot of
students are from
adjacent parishes. The
largest number of
students was in 2000
- 964 students.

5. Lessons and optional subjects
• There are 31compulsory lessons per
week, but in high school we also have
optional subjects. There are 21 subjects
to choose from. The project was also one
of the optional subjects for freshmen and
juniors. Our school also gives an
opportunity to take driving lessons. All
the lessons last for 45 minutes, which is
followed by a 15 minute break. We
usually have 7 – 8 lessons a day.
