At the beginning of 2008 an annual
industry wide survey was conducted of all
known (Structural Insulated Panel)
manufacturers big and small in the
United States of America. Of the over 200
companies that were contacted
approximately 85% responded and
provided hard data in the survey. The
other 15% of the companies not
responding were averaged into the
survey.

The survey indicated that, based on
annual figures, since the year 2003 to
2008 production of Structural Insulated
Panels has increased at an average of
6.8% per year.

In 2007 manufacturers classified 28.3
million square feet of panel for
residential home construction. The
average new residential home used 3,385
square feet of panels. Using this average the industry supplied approximately 8,368 residential
housing units in 2007.

In 2007 the industry manufactured 9.56 million square feet of panels for non-residential KACHIGIAN
buildings including landscape and agriculture. All but two companies reported some of their PANEL SYSTEM
2007 volume going into non-residential structures.

The leading geographic area in which panels were shipped to was the Western-South Western USA with 34% of all panels
being shipped to California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

Total estimated industry sales for 2007 were $385.5 million dollars.

Overall, when sales were divided into volume, panels were sold for an average of $5.60 per sq. ft. in 2007. Price increases
have averaged each year approximately 5-8%.

With a highly strategic and aggressive marketing and advertising plan, coupled with guerilla promotion tactics, Ecotech
Builders, Inc. anticipates capturing a conservative one percent (1%) industry market share in the first year of factory panel
production operations. This share reflects estimated gross sales of approximately 3.8 million. The second year it is
anticipated gross sales will double to 7.6 million dollars. Again, in the third year, doubling to approximately 15 million
dollars.

As the Green Building Industry continues to escalate becoming the driving force behind all new construction in the country,
these projected figures could quickly increase exponentially. Government Mandates and Reward Benefits being given for
energy-efficiency standards to consumers and builders through the ARRA, DOE and other such programs are also driving new
construction goals for building Green in the USA.

Speed:
Kachigian Panel buildings can be built in approximately
half the time of conventional construction. This allows your
project to go from blueprint design to a finished structure
in much quicker and with less risk.
               Flexibility:
With an unlimited number of finishes and design
configurations, the Kachigian Panel Building System can
be used for residential, commercial and industrial
applications. The panels can be used for floors, interior
and exterior walls, roofs, ceilings, fences as well as site and
               privacy walls.
               Superior Sound Insulation:
Kachigian Panels transfer about 66% less noise than
wood-frame or steel-frame walls. This makes our panels
an excellent choice for urban housing, hospitals, theaters,
schools or any place where sound is an issue.
               Superior Temperature Insulation:
Kachigian Panels provide an insulated concrete structure
for both hot and cold regions, delivering an R-40
performance. Our insulation performance is nearly four
times that of conventional construction. A typical
Kachigian Panel homeowner can save up to 60% on
               energy costs.
               Environmental Friendliness:
               Kachigian Panels contain approximately 60%
recycled/reclaimed materials by volume, 40% by weight.
All waste is 100% recyclable. It is the greenest structural
product is available in the United States and perhaps the
               world.

Kachigian Panel Fast Walls
“Kach-Panel” Fast Walls is the ideal wall solution for architects, builders and homeowners who need to quickly and inexpensively
construct a retaining wall (including basement walls), site wall, privacy wall or sound wall. Similar to our building system, the Kachigian
Panel Fast Wall system withstands 200 mph winds. It has a sound transfer coefficient of 50+, and is the most environmentally friendly
structural building product available in the United States.

                   KACHIGIAN
                   PANEL SYSTEM
What Is R-Value and what is the insulation value for Kachigian Panels?
The “R” system is a method of calculating the resistance of building materials to the transmission of heat and cold. The system was designed around
conventional construction methods. Because Kachigian Panels are of such higher quality than conventional construction, the “R” system does not
readily predict the thermal performance of Kachigian Panels. Kachigian Panels, while only carrying an “R” rating in the high 20’s the “R” performance
will be better than R-40. This means that the same house built of conventional wood or metal studs, bat insulation and stucco or wood siding or brick
veneer exterior would need to be built to an R-40 standard in order to match the thermal performance of Kachigian Panel structure.

What is Sound Transmission Coefficient (STC) and what is the STC rating for Kachigian Panels?
The STC rating on a given material is an indication of how well the material will resist the transmission of sound through it. The higher the rating, the
better the material resists sound transmission. For comparison, the typical design standard for an apartment sound wall is 50+. Kachigian Panels
have an STC rating of over 50.

What is the fire rating on Kachigian Panels?
Kachigian Panels have reinforced concrete skins of a minimum thickness of 1” (25mm), which means that our panels will have a minimum 90-minute
fire rating. In other words, Kachigian Panels will resist 1800 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 90 minutes. The concrete skin can be thickened to increase
this rating up to four hours.

How are Kachigian Panels secured to the foundation?
Kachigian Panels can be secured to the foundation in a variety of ways. In general, the panels may be attached through the use of U-shaped wire mesh
incorporated into the foundation plus dowels in addition as if required or they may be cast directly in the foundation.

How is a beam made with Kachigian Panels?
Kachigian Panels can be used as beams by simply changing their orientation and standing them on edge. Additional strength may be obtained by
removing portions of the foam core and adding reinforcing bars at strategic locations prior to applying the concrete.

How is electrical and plumbing installed in Kachigian Panels?
Kachigian Panels have cores which create channels that are ideal for passing electrical conductors as well as plumbing pipes.

Unsurpassed Engineering
Structures built using insulated concrete are among the fastest growing segment of the building industry. This growth has been driven by
the industry’s desire to build more efficiency into the construction process. It is also the result of an increased demand for homes with
better energy and sound insulation. Kachigian Panels has taken the sandwich panel technology of the past, and has re-engineered it from
the inside out to create a revolutionary new panel. Our panels are:
1. Simply manufactured. This results in significantly higher panel durability and strength. Our panels are a complete building system. And
can be used for floors, roofs, walls, countertops and much more.
2. By far the easiest panels to build with. Our panels have inherent utility chases, allowing builders to easily install utilities (Plumbing,
Utility, HVAC, etc.) internally.
3. The most environmentally friendly structural building material in the world.

What makes us Green?
Ecological Sensitivity
The Kachigian Panel Building System is the “greenest” structural building product available in the United States. Every aspect of our
building system, from panel manufacturing to panel erection, has been engineered so that our products generate the least amount of
waste, fuel consumption and environmental disruption.

Exceeding all Standards
* Kachigian Panels are made from 40% recycled material content by weight and 60% by volume. All waste is 100% recyclable.
* Kachigian Panels use EPS (expanded polystyrene) plastic for its panels.
* The wire trusses are 40% recycled steel (mostly from auto industry), and the shotcrete skins are a minimum of 40% fly ash (a byproduct of
coal burning).

Energy Efficiency
The energy performance and thermal efficiency of the Kachigian Panel Building System is superior to almost any other type of construction.
The insulation (core) and exterior concrete skin isolate the interior skin from the effects of the outdoor temperature, permitting a true
thermal flywheel behavior by the interior skin. The two monolithic, joint free skins and the foam core stop almost all leaking, which gives
Kachigian Panels an R0 insulation performance. This means that a conventionally constructed building would need to be built to an R-40
insulation rating standard to match the performance of an Kachigian Panel building. Kachigian Panels can save occupants 40-60% on
energy costs. This also allows designers and builders to install smaller HVAC systems, as the heating and cooling loads are dramatically
reduced.

Efficient Building System
Kachigian Panels are not only one of the most environmentally friendly building products in the marketplace today, they are also one of the
most environmentally friendly construction system available. The concrete skins on Kachigian Panels are typically applied with dry-mix
pneumatically applied plaster, the construction process water usage, compared to stucco or tilt-up construction, is greatly reduced.

                                                      KACHIGIAN
                                                       PANEL SYSTEM

The survey indicated that, based on annual figures, since the year 2003 to 2008 production of Structural Insulated Panels has increased at an average of 6.8% per year. In 2007 manufacturers classified 28.3 million square feet of panel for residential home construction. The average new residential home used 3,385 square feet of panels. Using this average the industry supplied approximately 8,368 residential housing units in 2007. In 2007 the industry manufactured 9.56 million square feet of panels for non-residential KACHIGIAN buildings including landscape and agriculture. All but two companies reported some of their PANEL SYSTEM 2007 volume going into non-residential structures. The leading geographic area in which panels were shipped to was the Western-South Western USA with 34% of all panels being shipped to California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Total estimated industry sales for 2007 were $385.5 million dollars. Overall, when sales were divided into volume, panels were sold for an average of $5.60 per sq. ft. in 2007. Price increases have averaged each year approximately 5-8%. With a highly strategic and aggressive marketing and advertising plan, coupled with guerilla promotion tactics, Ecotech Builders, Inc. anticipates capturing a conservative one percent (1%) industry market share in the first year of factory panel production operations. This share reflects estimated gross sales of approximately 3.8 million. The second year it is anticipated gross sales will double to 7.6 million dollars. Again, in the third year, doubling to approximately 15 million dollars. As the Green Building Industry continues to escalate becoming the driving force behind all new construction in the country, these projected figures could quickly increase exponentially. Government Mandates and Reward Benefits being given for energy-efficiency standards to consumers and builders through the ARRA, DOE and other such programs are also driving new construction goals for building Green in the USA.

  • 8. What Is R-Value and what is the insulation value for Kachigian Panels? The “R” system is a method of calculating the resistance of building materials to the transmission of heat and cold. The system was designed around conventional construction methods. Because Kachigian Panels are of such higher quality than conventional construction, the “R” system does not readily predict the thermal performance of Kachigian Panels. Kachigian Panels, while only carrying an “R” rating in the high 20’s the “R” performance will be better than R-40. This means that the same house built of conventional wood or metal studs, bat insulation and stucco or wood siding or brick veneer exterior would need to be built to an R-40 standard in order to match the thermal performance of Kachigian Panel structure. What is Sound Transmission Coefficient (STC) and what is the STC rating for Kachigian Panels? The STC rating on a given material is an indication of how well the material will resist the transmission of sound through it. The higher the rating, the better the material resists sound transmission. For comparison, the typical design standard for an apartment sound wall is 50+. Kachigian Panels have an STC rating of over 50. What is the fire rating on Kachigian Panels? Kachigian Panels have reinforced concrete skins of a minimum thickness of 1” (25mm), which means that our panels will have a minimum 90-minute fire rating. In other words, Kachigian Panels will resist 1800 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 90 minutes. The concrete skin can be thickened to increase this rating up to four hours. How are Kachigian Panels secured to the foundation? Kachigian Panels can be secured to the foundation in a variety of ways. In general, the panels may be attached through the use of U-shaped wire mesh incorporated into the foundation plus dowels in addition as if required or they may be cast directly in the foundation. How is a beam made with Kachigian Panels? Kachigian Panels can be used as beams by simply changing their orientation and standing them on edge. Additional strength may be obtained by removing portions of the foam core and adding reinforcing bars at strategic locations prior to applying the concrete. How is electrical and plumbing installed in Kachigian Panels? Kachigian Panels have cores which create channels that are ideal for passing electrical conductors as well as plumbing pipes. 335 N. • 9. Unsurpassed Engineering Structures built using insulated concrete are among the fastest growing segment of the building industry. This growth has been driven by the industry’s desire to build more efficiency into the construction process. It is also the result of an increased demand for homes with better energy and sound insulation. Kachigian Panels has taken the sandwich panel technology of the past, and has re-engineered it from the inside out to create a revolutionary new panel. Our panels are: 1. Simply manufactured. This results in significantly higher panel durability and strength. Our panels are a complete building system. And can be used for floors, roofs, walls, countertops and much more. 2. By far the easiest panels to build with. Our panels have inherent utility chases, allowing builders to easily install utilities (Plumbing, Utility, HVAC, etc.) internally. 3. The most environmentally friendly structural building material in the world. What makes us Green? Ecological Sensitivity The Kachigian Panel Building System is the “greenest” structural building product available in the United States. Every aspect of our building system, from panel manufacturing to panel erection, has been engineered so that our products generate the least amount of waste, fuel consumption and environmental disruption. Exceeding all Standards * Kachigian Panels are made from 40% recycled material content by weight and 60% by volume. All waste is 100% recyclable. * Kachigian Panels use EPS (expanded polystyrene) plastic for its panels. * The wire trusses are 40% recycled steel (mostly from auto industry), and the shotcrete skins are a minimum of 40% fly ash (a byproduct of coal burning). Energy Efficiency The energy performance and thermal efficiency of the Kachigian Panel Building System is superior to almost any other type of construction. The insulation (core) and exterior concrete skin isolate the interior skin from the effects of the outdoor temperature, permitting a true thermal flywheel behavior by the interior skin. The two monolithic, joint free skins and the foam core stop almost all leaking, which gives Kachigian Panels an R0 insulation performance. This means that a conventionally constructed building would need to be built to an R-40 insulation rating standard to match the performance of an Kachigian Panel building. Kachigian Panels can save occupants 40-60% on energy costs. This also allows designers and builders to install smaller HVAC systems, as the heating and cooling loads are dramatically reduced. Efficient Building System Kachigian Panels are not only one of the most environmentally friendly building products in the marketplace today, they are also one of the most environmentally friendly construction system available. The concrete skins on Kachigian Panels are typically applied with dry-mix pneumatically applied plaster, the construction process water usage, compared to stucco or tilt-up construction, is greatly reduced.
