Kaboom Collective offers a hybrid learning model combining in-person and online education. Students from around the world can join specialty teams digitally to work on productions while also meeting in-person in Cleveland. Kaboom is a production-based educational platform where students gain experience and credits by working on projects across industries like animation, music, film, and games. Students are taught by over 50 professionals in the arts and entertainment fields.

PRODUCTION-BASED PLATFORM
Kaboom Collective is the first and only production-based educational platform for students. The organization
and its students are currently producing multiple projects in a variety of industries across a plethora of formats.
Students receive IMDb credit, liner notes credit, and polished pieces for their academic and professional portfolios.

KABOOM ANIMATION TEAM
As student animators, participants create important visual
art while working alongside Hollywood producers and
animators. Students study with Rich Arons, an LA-based
director and producer of many beloved ‘toons.

KABOOM STUDIO ORCHESTRA
An authentic Hollywood-Style Orchestra that
performs and records all of the music at Kaboom.
Forty student members study under the direction of
conductor and educator Liza Grossman.
KABOOM COMPOSITION TEAM
A vibrant group of student composers that writes
and arranges the music for every Kaboom Production.
Students work with and learn from an array of industry
professionals and educators like Dr. Clint Needham at
Baldwin Wallace Conservatory and Julie Bernstein and
Steven Bernstein at Warner Brothers.
KABOOM VOICEOVER TEAM
Breathing life into every Kaboom Production, student
voice actors learn about this unique craft, including
recording techniques, marketing, and more. Students
study with Paul Rugg, an actor and producer known for
The Animaniacs and Freakazoid.
KABOOM WRITING TEAM
Students in Kaboom’s Writing Team work to create, edit,
and produce scripts for Kaboom Productions. Working
alongside Paul Rugg, writers hone their skill set, drafting
compelling stories and designing characters that connect.
KABOOM FILM TEAM
The Kaboom Film Team is responsible for all aspects of
the pre-production, production and post-production film
making process, capturing, documenting, and creatively
communicating exciting productions being made @ Kaboom.

bringing commercial
art to life, through
every step of its
journey. Our goal
is to deliver a well-
rounded education
that allows curious
students to learn
about the industry while
they explore a variety of
career paths.
UNIQUE EDUCATION
We’re helping to develop a new
video game with our partners
at Digital Owl. Brave Snow
will be released on multiple
platforms in 2023, including
Nintendo. Kaboom students
are involved in the creative and
technical processes—creating
key characters, composing the
theme music and laying down
the orchestral tracks for this
awesome new game.
Kaboom is partnering with Mike
Garson, David Bowie’s pianist,
to create new music and record
the orchestral tracks on an
album. Students follow the
album through the composition
of new charts, they lay down
orchestral tracks, audit the
engineering and mix process,
and help take the product to
market.
Kaboom students are producing
an animated short with Emmy®
award-winning composers,
animators, and script writers.
Each student learns how to
write the script/story board,
perform the voice-overs, score
the music, create the animation,
and so much more. We’ll
submit the finished product
to animation festivals and for
award opportunities.
The Kaboom Composition Team
and the Kaboom Studio Orchestra
are working with Billboard-chart
topping band The Accidentals to
produce an album of new tunes.
Thoughtful arrangements and
textured playing join emotional
lyrics and soulful performance to
make these recordings some of the
most favorite we’ve ever produced.
The album will be released digitally
and on vinyl in 2022.
