• Maintaining and clearing wilderness and non-wilderness trails by hiking long
distances removing timber, brush as well as digging new trail, creating water bars
and many other trail needs.
• Overnight camping in backcountry locations
• Familiarity with crosscut saws, chainsaws, axes, pruners and rocks bars

• Manage tasks for other forest workers while supervisor is unavailable
