Nature Days -Fieldwork Provider Gower AONB 2007 – date
• I have set up my own company “Nature Days provides local field work provision
• Providing field trips for schools ranging from Primary (lower and upper school) to A level
Geography (coursework data collection and lectures on management and field techniques).
• Provide advice for schools to develop their grounds for use for Forest School and
curriculum based work.
• Developing and undertaking outdoor activities for the Gower Society Youth group
• Researching and developing a programme of monthly events for young children to
appreciate the Gower Lordship
• Creating resources for schools and the National Trust for use in outdoor learning
• Forest School Leader with SNPT Forest School and at Knelston Primary School.
Contracts undertaken as Nature Days
• Countryside Council for Wales Delivering an Education Service at Oxwich NNR.
Including writing a teachers pack for Key stage 2 visits to Oxwich NNR and undertaking
piloting of the material.
• The Environment Centre and Countryside Council for Wales delivering field work at
Crymlyn National Nature Reserve. Since 2009 I have undertaken all the school education
trips at Crymlyn Bog NNR.
• National Trust created I spy kids cards for all the National Trust land on Gower.
• Created wildlife and historical leaflets for the Coast watch volunteers at Rhossili lookout
plus posters describing the role of Coast watch, the National Trust and CCW.

Commons. I have created a teacher’s pack for Ryers Down and used it to promote using
Gower Commons for field work and trailblazers.
