FEEL YOUNGER,
SLIMMER & FIRMER
TRAINING holistically or naturally
means listening to body, mind and
spirit, and working with it rather
than against it. International Ho-
listic Practitioner and celebrity
fitness trainer Julie Rammal’s new
fitness DVD, “In Light of Change,”
teaches you how to look and feel younger, and get slimmer
and firmer in just two weeks by combining modern and an-
cient training fitness and alternative medicine techniques.
We have five copies of the $24.95 DVD “In Light of
Change,” to give away FREE. For a chance to win, see

are pushed below the skin
by standing and walking. A
thick, callus-like skin forms
over the wart.
Another irritating type is the
periungual wart, which cluster
around fingertips and toes,
and can impede nail growth.
An impaired immune sys-
tem increases the likelihood
of getting warts, as does go-
ing barefoot on wet surfaces,
sharing personal items and
biting nails or cuticles. Warts
occur most often in children
and young adults.
Contact a doctor if warts
are spreading quickly, despite
treatment, or if you suspect a
wart could be skin cancer.
Painful warts or ones that
may have an infection (a red-
dening of the area or dis-
charge of fluid) also should be
seen by a doctor.

Triggered by
bacteria or vi-
ruses, the disease
makes victims very
sick, causing them to
cough, run a fever and have a
hard time breathing.

nia after having a cold or flu,

be rusty, green or
tinged with blood.
A case with mild
symptoms is called “walking
pneumonia.”
Your doctor can treat bac-
terial pneumonia with anti-
biotics, and symptoms
usually lessen within 72
hours. But a case caused by a
virus is treated with bed rest,
sleep, drinking lots of fluids
and taking cough medicine.
You can lower your odds of
getting pneumonia by
avoiding others with a
cold, flu, measles or
chickenpox, and by
washing your hands
often. Children get
them as part of their
routine shots, but
people age 65 and
older should ask
their doctor about
them. The vac-
cine won’t prevent
you from getting
pneumonia, but
you probably
won’t be as sick
if you do get it.
Steer clear of those
suffering from the flu or
measles to lower the risk
of contracting pneumonia
