It's so hot out here, We have no energy supplies. We chose to camp
out on Neil on Ground because of the opportunities listed below:

 Pia hot springs - Steam generators
 Perry Beach - Tidal generator
 Julian points - Wind mills
 Neil-on-Ground - THE CAMPSITE
 Lelievre Forest - biomass
 Leah Lake - Dam/Hydroelectric
 Reily Mountain (Top Edge of the lake) - Water supply
Dr. Ron has decided to create a windmill out of the
natural supplies of the island. He first went to Lelievre
forest to get wood. He then began crafting the propellers
for the windmill. He then used the parts for the parts for
the turbine connections and connected it. After that the
team decided that we should place the windmill close to
the Lelievre forest in the direction of the wind. We chose
this particular area as we know that the wind is strongest
in that area
We are going to get the LED light bulb because it costs
less and we have enough light from the sun to see in the
day time but we need some light at night incase we want
to go hunting or are busy planning our escape.. The LED
light bulb does not waste much electricity as the other
light bulbs and since we are in an Island we can't have
electricity wasted or used up because we need it to
survive.
The team has become bored and now want to watch a
premier league football match. We must first find out
how many watts of electricity a TV uses. We found out
that the average television uses about: 160 watts. We now
have to find out how long we must cycle to power our
TV. So we know that if we have a 60 volt power output
the average person can create about 60 volts of
electricity. So we divide: 160/60=2.6667 hrs. That is the
amount of hours it will take to power the television.
Our washing machine broke last night and we need
a new one. Right now we are testing the ways we can
make energy for the washing machine, here is the
graph:
We are going to choose liebherr washing machine
because it consumes the least amount of energy and
we are in a island so it will make a little change
DAY 7
We decided to invite Nicola from New Zealand to our
island because she is the second person who used energy
from renewable sources and the has the least according
to the electricity she used in billion kilowatts. She will
save us a lot of energy and she will uses a good amount
of renewable energy.
Dr. Raymond arrived this morning on our Island. He
doesn't like our light bulbs so he made a graph and asked
the scientist to choose which type of bulb we should ask
for the next time someone comes to our Island.
We are going to get the LED light bulb because it costs less and we have enough light
from the sun to see in the day time but we need some light at night incase we want to
go hunting or are busy planning our escape.. The LED light bulb does not waste much
electricity as the other light bulbs and since we are in an Island we can't have
electricity wasted or used up because we need it to survive.
Today is the last day in the Island for 5 scientist. They are
sick of this Island and want to go home. We are going to
build a way to get 5 scientist off the Island by using some
type of transportation that uses low-energy and low-
electricity because after 5 people there are still 26 people
in the Island and we need electricity to survive. We are
thinking of building a raft and paddles made out of
wood from the forest, 3 people should fit in 1 raft. We are
going to use the axe to carve it out of a tree and it will
not use much electricity which is good.
