Mr. DeVries is an AICP Certified Planner with 10 years of professional
experience. He is currently employed as a Long Range Planner III for Osceola
County Florida Planning and Design, where he has been employed for 5 years.
He was also previously employed by the City of Kissimmee Florida for over 5
years as a Current and Neighborhood Planner. In May 2016, he earned a
Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Central
Florida with a 4.0 GPA. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Planning from
Northern Michigan University in 2005. Mr. DeVries has been active with the
American Planning Association (APA) since 2005, where he has served on the
Local Board of Directors, served as the Liaison to the Young Planners Group,
and as the APA Planning Student Organization Representative for the UCF
Urban Knights Planning Student Organization. Mr. DeVries is a self-motivated,
dedicated, and innovative professional, who is always eager to learn new skills
through experience and continuing education.
