The document provides an overview of the class schedule and topics for a Sunday school course on "The Real People & Places of the Bible". The class will cover biblical events from the world before the Bible up to the time of the Judges. It then discusses several key battles that occurred as the Israelites journeyed from Egypt, including against the Amorites, Bashan, and Midianites. The rest of the document analyzes the central, southern, and northern theaters of battle during the Israelite conquest of Canaan under Joshua, including locations like Jericho, Ai, Gibeon, and the waters of Merom. It also lists the 31 kings defeated by Joshua according to the biblical account.

26. An alternative proposal is that the Bible's chronology
of events is accurate, and the Biblical Ai is not to be
located at et-Tell, but a different site entirely. Dr.
Bryant Wood has proposed that Ai should instead be
located at the site of Kirbet el-Maqatir arguing that the
evidence for this site being Ai is stronger than at et-
Tell.[1] David Livingstone has also suggested Khirbet
Nisya as another possible location for Ai.
