Logistics Director October 2006- Current
• Direct and manage the Field Support, Transportation and Warehouse Departments consisting of
15-20 employees. The field support employees are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of
safety and logistical needs of the groups. I arrange and schedule Transportation Department
employees to facilitate the bringing in of clientele as well as oversee and facilitate their departures.
Work closely with the Medical Department to coordinate and facilitate medical evacuations and
emergency response(s) to critical situations.
• Created several job positions to enable a more fluid accessibility of company resources. These
positions included providing full as well as part time positions to assist field support drivers in
delivering food and water to the groups on a daily basis. Other jobs created included part time
transportation positions to perform weekend, emergency and on-call duties. Generated an on-call
rotation to address the after-hours needs of the company.
• Initiated the restructuring of the Logistics Department and the framework within which it operates.
This included defining the parameters and delineating specific duties and responsibilities for the
Field Support and Transportation Departments. Constructed a fluid working relationship between
the Logistics Department and Clinical and Administrative Departments; allowing for a more
effective and efficient execution of daily operations.
• Generated an escorting program to assist families in transporting their children to additional
treatment facilities. This involved structuring a pricing formula to ensure cost-effective business
practice as well as providing a more economic option for clientele and families.
• Work with company owners and other department heads on day-to-day business operations.
Collaborated on initiating new programs by creating and serving on inter-department committees;
including participating in writing and formulating new policies and procedures for companywide
as well as specific departmental implementation.
• Managed and coordinated company communications; including the implementation of new
satellite phone services and equipment for our field groups.
• Introduced service projects and land restoration initiatives with the National Forest Service and
Bureau of Land Management.
• Taught classes and trained company employees in effective communication skills, and crisis
management techniques and practices.
• Created employee recognition and incentives programs to ensure the appreciation and retention of
Logistics Department employees.
• Generated, created and edited written copy material for Second Nature and Evoke Therapy
Programs website(s).
• Worked with Dr. Brad Reedy on editing his upcoming book, Journey Of the Heroic Parent.
• Worked to create programming, curriculum and development of new program(s) and services.

Field Support Department Driver March 2005-October 2006
• Daily coordination of hiking plans and campsites for 6 backpacking field groups (50-60 people).
• Responsible for survival needs of groups such as food and water. Also was on call for 8 day shifts,
24 hours a day. Was entrusted to deal with emergency situations at any hour. Also was in charge
of reporting any land use emergencies, such as wild fires, lightning strikes, illegal land use, etc.
