Jorja Smith
Music Campaign
A music campaign is a promotion of an
artists work in several areas to help publicise
and excel their success. This package
completes an artists release of any album,
usually a campaign consists of an album,
music video, and website.
Jorja Smith
Jorja Smith fits a hybrid genre of new R&B soul and Pop
music
Target Audience
Jorja Smith’ s target audience would consist of mainly girls
ranging from a large age group due to her wide range of
music but mainly appealing to 15-25 year olds.
Unique Selling Point
For a female artist, Jorja Smith defies stereotypes by staying
true to her image. She embraces a more natural beauty and
speaks out about feminism which engages a prominently
female audience.

The Three Products
Overall, the three products link really well together, by following a similar
style. The font used is the same in the music video, digi-pack, and
website. This runs along with her rustic R&B style.
The website also displays her achievements and plugs social media
accounts this allows her to widely promote her product to the world.
The music video is slightly different because it talks more and shows
pictures of gang crime, by looking at her website or digi-pack you
wouldn’t think this.
I think this campaign is successful as it is very true to the artist and has a
very natural feel to it. I think this campaign appeals to many audiences
not just her target audience due to the neutral appeal of the campaign.
Dyer’s star theory
I would say Richard Dyer’s star theory applies to Jorja Smith.
She is very much so in the public eye with her music,
attending festivals, touring, modelling etc… However, whilst
having a very unique voice she is very humble and has an
approachable look.
Whilst being in the public eye, her whole life isn’t in the public
eye she is very low-key in her activities which aren’t to do
with her career.
