2. Current Employment
• I currently am servicing the Oakwood
Healthcare System through CareTech
Solutions as a Systems Developer

3. I Have Always Had a
Passion for Technology
• Since the age of twelve, I have always loved
figuring out what I can do on a computer
• I started by fixing a mouse, then building my own
computer, and now I am integrating and
developing systems for an enterprise with over
8,000 machines

4. Cool Stuff I Have Done
• Promoted twice in a year
• Rover project
• SCCM
• PowerShell
• Group Policy
• Development

5. Excellent Leadership
• I served several years working as a manager at a
local McDonald’s
• I have put enough effort here at Oakwood to
receive two promotions in only a year
• My customer service skills are excellent
• I treat them with respect and I work as quickly as
possible to make the technology headache they
have go away!

6. Rover’s
• Oakwood switched over to a new system called
Epic
• Part of this system required a brand new device,
Honeywell Dolphin 7800’s, to be integrated into
the environment
• I built, developed, imaged, and set up all of the
intricacies that come along with putting a brand
new system into a hospital with over 10,000
clients

7. SCCM and Group Policy
• I have formal training in both
• I have used both
• Even when the task was not necessarily mine, I
extended myself to help and to learn these
systems as much as possible here at Oakwood

8. But Above All
• I love to develop

9. PowerShell
• I have used all of the .NET languages and one of
the newest ones I am working with has been
PowerShell
• This is a great and flexible tool to help those
repetitive tasks take a little less effort

10. C# and VB.NET
• I have written and maintained several C# and VB
applications
• Everything from quick little tools, to programs that
are used every day by our users
• My passion lies here
• Give me a program to fix or to develop and I will
work on it tirelessly

11. ASP.NET
• I know both MVC and Web Forms
• I have developed several intranet websites for
Oakwood
• I love the ingenuity that comes with designing a
web page that could be used in any number of
platforms

12. My Professional Education
• Eastern Michigan University
– Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Computer
Science
– I received the Cleo Finlin award for 2010-2011
• Best academics in the computer science
department for that year
– There, we worked with Java and several other
languages
– I really was able to develop an idea of how a
computer truly works here
