Johnny‟s young life was marked by one of his first
memories of living in a shelter for battered women. Then
he grew up as a young dealer on the hardcore streets.
After several near-death experiences, he decided it was
time to „flip the switch‟, and refused to let his past
determine his future !

3. „By all logic, I should‟ve been dead a long time
ago. I was not supposed to amount to anything; I
was destined for failure. Success was not an option
for someone with my past. People think someone
like me does not deserve a second chance.There
were only two places for people in my shoes :
“prison or the graveyard”…..‟
….. BUT !

NOT

Watch what you say. Whatever
you say will become your reality.

6. IDENTIFY YOUR
‘FRIENDS’ AND ‘FOES’
A friend is any person, any place or any
thing that’s pushing you toward your
destiny.
A foe is any person, any place or any
thing that’s holding you back from
your destiny.

7. Call For A
‘SEASON FOR
SEPARATION’
- A period in your life when you surround yourself only
with ‘friends’ who celebrate you and focus only on your
goals. No compromise.

8. OTHER PERSON’S OPINION OF
YOU DOESN’T HAVE TO BECOME
YOUR REALITY !
Never let somebody else build your world, but you.
They
will
build
it small…

9. IMPORTANCE OF MENTORSHIP
‘I am smart enough to know
that I am not smart enough
to know everything’ !

10. FIND ‘WHYs’ FOR YOUR ‘WANTs’
When you find „why‟ in everything that you
„want‟ and become passionate with a burning
desire for the end result, your „wants‟ will
become „musts‟.
WANTs + WHYs = MUSTs

11. ‘ IF I CAN DO IT,
ANYONE CAN.’
