Enclosed please find a copy of my resume’ . I have recently graduated on May 8, 2009
from Athena Career Academy with a certificate in practical nursing. I have acquired my
license in practical nursing on September 17 of 2009. I am very interested in working in
your facility as an LPN. I feel that I could bring many of strengths along with my positive
attitude as a team player that will contribute to a good work environment for your staff
as well as the patients.

In working at the various clinical sites during my education experience, I have increased
my understanding of what it really means to be a nurse, the effort it takes to care for a
patient's illness as well as their mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. My experience in
working with the nurses during my education have also taught me the importance of
prioritizing care, time management while still providing good quality care to patients.

I hope I will be selected for an interview in the near future and I look forward to hearing
from you. My telephone number along with my address, and e-mail address are
included at the top of this letter. If I do not hear from you within the next 2 weeks I will
contact your office to ascertain the status of my application.

Sincerely,

Johnna Coates
