24. OOH-Wind Turbine Technicians
What WWT Do: Wind turbine service technicians,
also known as windtechs, install, maintain, and
repair wind turbines.
Work Environment: Wind turbine service
technicians generally work outdoors, in confined
spaces, and often at great heights. Although the
majority of windtechs work full time, they may also
be on call to handle emergencies during evenings
and weekends.
Pay: The median annual wage for wind turbine
technicians was $52,260 in May 2016.
Job Outlook: Employment of wind turbine service technicians is projected to grow 108 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the
average for all occupations. Because wind electricity generation is expected to grow over the coming decade, additional technicians will
be needed to install and maintain new turbines. Job prospects should be excellent for qualified candidates..
State & Area Data:
Similar Occupations: electricians, elevator technicians, HVAC, plumbers, pipefitters, and more

25. OOH-Occupational Therapy Assistants
Job Prospects: Occupational therapy assistants and aides with experience working in an occupational therapy office or other
healthcare setting should have the best job opportunities. However, occupational therapy aides may face strong competition
from the large pool of qualified people, because requirements for entry are low.
26. OOH-Statistician (Job Prospects)
Job Prospects: Job prospects for statisticians are projected to be very good.An increasing number of jobs over the next
decade will require high levels of statistical knowledge. Job opportunities are expected to be favorable for those with very
strong quantitative and data analysis skills. Computer programming skills will remain important to many employers.
Graduates with a master’s degree in statistics and a strong background in a related discipline, such as finance, biology,
engineering, or computer science, are projected to have the best prospects of finding jobs in their field of study.
27. OOH-Interior Designers (Job Prospects)
Job Prospects: Job prospects should be better in high-income areas, because wealthy clients are more likely than others to
engage in remodeling and renovating their spaces. Keeping up to date with the newest design tools, such as three-
dimensional computer-aided design (CAD) software, also will improve one’s job prospects.
Interior designers who specialize, such as those who design kitchens, may benefit by becoming an expert in their particular
area. By specializing in a unique area of design, interior designers can use their knowledge of products to better fulfill
customer requests.

39. When A Prayer Is Not Answered
Q:What do you do when you have prepared
carefully, have prayed fervently, waited a
reasonable time for a response, and still do
not feel an answer?
A:You may want to express thanks when that
occurs, for it is an evidence of His trust. When
you are living worthily and your choice is
consistent with the Savior’s teachings and you
need to act, proceed with trust.
