1. Front of House is my specific job role, on the Wednesday night I will on Car
Parking which is ushering the cars to where they can park. In the interval I will
be responsible for ensuring the audience are all comfortable and happy. On
the Thursday night I will be using the clicker to count how many people come
through the door as they arrive, ensuring the number does not go over 100.
When the majority of the audience have arrived I will start escorting people up
to the house in groups of 25. I will take the second group and then when all the
audience have come together I will usher people into the performance rooms
which is room A (The Drawing room/Piano room). In the Interval again I will be
responsible for ensuring the audience are all comfortable and happy.
As FOH you have to be a people person and make sure the guests feel safe and
have an enjoyable time throughout the night.
My Manager for FOH is Ashley and she has given me this role over the two
nights.
