Having 4 months of training in Ad Hoc Technologies Private Limited Trivandrum for
completing the project titled “E-med System”.
Project Title: E-MED SYSTEM

Project Description: E-med System is a medical directory of Top Doctors aiming to
provide world class Medical facilities on click of a button. This project presents an
emergency alarm and healthcare management system, which is mainly deployed in an
android-based phone that is conveniently used and carried. So our system is suitable for
most of the people. With the help of the GPS and GSM network, the system can make
sure the location of the users when they are in trouble and trigger the alarm. When the
doctor or family receives the alarm message, they can immediately take measures to
rescue the user. It can also manage the health record of the user. The user can take online
medical to send their physical condition and then get prescription from doctor who will
send the prescription on the user's phone . After that the life reminder system can remind
the user to take medical on time and so on. With support of Fractal image compression
our application helps to compress and save patient details such as scan reports
successfully in database.

Project Title: Eye-gaze detection with a webcam based on geometry features extraction

Project Description: This project is an efficient approach for real-time eye-gaze detection
from images acquired from a web camera. The measured data is sufficient to describe the
eye movement, because the web camera is stationary with respect to the head. First, the
image is binarized with a dynamic threshold. Then geometry features of the eye image
are extracted from binary image. Next using estimation method based on geometry
structure of eye, we detect the positions of two eye corners. After that, the center of iris is
detected by matching between an iris boundary model and image contours. Finally, using
the relative position information between the center of iris and the eye corners, base on
the relationship between image coordinate and monitor coordinate, the position where the
eye is looking at the monitor is calculated. This system requires only a low cost web
camera and a personal computer. Experimental results show that the proposed system can
detect accurately eye movements in realtime.
